Nate DePasquale
Nate DePasquale, our
General Manager, brings over 20 years of experience in the beverage equipment service industry. Starting as a technician after earning his Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida in 2004, Nate worked his way up, mastering both the technical and business sides of the industry. Under his leadership,
BERCO has expanded across six states, built a reputation for exceptional service, and fostered a culture of internal growth and mentorship. Committed to operational excellence and team development, Nate continues to drive
BERCO’s success while ensuring its founding values of hard work, integrity, and innovation remain at the core of the company.
Zoey Cook
Zoey Cook is responsible for
Business Operations. Prior to joining
BERCO in 2016, Zoey worked in an office position at a car dealership in Connecticut. Her move to Florida led to her involvement with BERCO, where she initially served as the Office Manager, handling tasks such as bookkeeping and working closely with key team members to manage operations. As
BERCO expanded, Zoey's role evolved to focus on managing departments like accounts receivable and dispatch. In her current role, she develops procedures, manages efficiencies, acts as the main contact for new customers, and reviews reports for technicians.
Adam Carlson
Adam Carlson serves as an
Operations Manager. With 15 years of prior experience in restaurant management, he understands the urgency of equipment reliability in these fast-paced environments. Having joined
BERCO 16 years ago as a technician they had just two trucks in Southwest Florida, he worked in the field for 14 years before becoming Operations Manager. Now overseeing the service technicians across the Southeast, Adam manages dispatch, field operations, and after-hours service, ensuring
BERCO delivers fast, efficient support to its customers.
Arley Barrientos
Arley Barrientos is an
Operations Manager. Passionate about HVAC from an early age, he pursued his education in the field and graduated during the COVID-19 pandemic. After briefly working outside the industry, he joined
BERCO as a field technician in 2021, quickly adapting to the company’s specialized service work. In July 2024, he was promoted to Operations Manager, where he now manages technician operations, service coordination, and
BERCO’s Lakeland shop. With his technical expertise and hands-on leadership, Arley plays a vital role in ensuring efficiency and supporting our growth.
Brad Simard
Brad Simard acts as the
Trainer and Safety Lead. Brad grew up in Connecticut and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from East Carolina University in 2015. Initially planning to teach business technology in high school, he transitioned into sales roles. In 2016, Brad joined
BERCO as a technician in the Cape Coral office where he learned the trade through on-the-job training. He later moved to Tampa and assumed the Lead Technician role, leading the zone's expansion to include Orlando, Gainesville, and Jacksonville. As
BERCO continued to grow, Brad leveraged his educational background to develop and lead the company's training and safety programs, officially taking on the Trainer and Safety Lead role in Fall 2023. Currently based at the Lakeland shop, Brad supports the team through office-based and on-site training initiatives, finding fulfillment in educating and training others.
Steven Ash
Steven Ash serves as
Engineering Support/Quality Control. Having joined
BERCO in 2018, he initially worked as a Service Technician for six years before transitioning to an office role in 2024. Prior to joining
BERCO, Steven held management positions in retail, including serving as a store manager for a national convenience store chain. This background provided him with valuable insights into the operational needs of convenience stores, aligning well with
BERCO's focus on repairing beverage equipment. At
BERCO, Steven's work involves running reports, analyzing data, and organizing large-scale projects, as well as tracking company performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Scott Carey
Scott Carey is responsible for
Engineering Support/Quality Control. Before joining
BERCO, Scott worked in retail sales and tech repair, while also operating his own IT company, providing services such as setting up computer and phone systems for clients. Scott joined
BERCO in February 2019 as an entry-level technician, quickly progressing to Lead Technician and then overseeing warehouse management operations in Lakeland. During this time, he successfully expanded a major convenience store chain account across Florida. In April 2023, Scott transitioned to his current role, supporting technicians across multiple states to ensure consistent quality standards in repairs and installations, while contributing to the growth and efficiency of
BERCO's services.
Tracy Hamm
Tracy Hamm serves as the
Senior A/R Associate at BERCO. Early in her career, she worked in an office role at a boat lift company, handling data entry for customer orders and generating daily operational reports. Following this, she took a break to homeschool her children, during which she managed the financial aspects of her husband's welding business. Six years later, Tracy transitioned into retail, supervising at a national discounted fashion and home goods retailer. She joined
BERCO in May 2019 as an Accounts Receivable associate and was promoted to her current position in July 2024. In her role, Tracy oversees the AR department, manages key customer accounts, and supports her team, leveraging her extensive experience in financial management and customer relations to drive efficiency and satisfaction at
BERCO.
Jamie Douglass
Jamie Douglass is our
Senior Dispatcher. Prior to joining
BERCO, she co-owned and operated a cleaning company for six years. Her transition to
BERCO in 2022 was facilitated by her husband who also works at the company. Jamie began as a dispatcher and has since expanded her role to include part ordering, stock management, and inventory control. With nearly three years of service, she has become an integral part of the team, leveraging her organizational skills and experience to efficiently manage operations. Her tenure and expertise have naturally led to her position as Senior Dispatcher, where she continues to contribute to the company's success.
